Dr Elizabeth Achinewhu-Nworgu is a Business and Human Resource Management Lecturer who has extensive public sector experience, working for Local Authorities and the National Health Service in the UK for over 30 years. She has held a number of roles including TV presenter, business owner, International Consultant and also author of Determined to Succeed, in which she shares her inspiring journey from her childhood in the aftermath of the war in Nigeria to establishing a successful family life, education and career in the UK.
Elizabeth has studied, taught and researched extensively in further and higher education in the UK, which includes a Doctorate Degree in Education that explored ‘Strategies promoting Student Retention’. In addition to her Doctorate degree, she has Master of Laws (LLM), Master of Business Administration (MBA), PGCE and DMS degrees obtained in UK universities. She is also an active researcher on student retention and is a respected academic, as demonstrated by being the Panel Chair on the Bulgarian Comparative Education Societies for Law and Education as well as an International Co-ordinator for Europe at the ISCEST Conference Africa.
