MA Applied Project Management (part-time)
I chose Northumbria University because it is an accredited business school and the London campus is a convenient location with the provision to study part-time outside of working hours.
My main reason for wanting to undertake a part-time master’s in Project Management is my strong aspiration to fill my knowledge gap via a Masters degree which would aid in my career advancement.
I’ve used the learning’s from the programme for continuous development and to widen my European project management responsibilities. The most useful aspect of the course was the positive engagement with people from diverse backgrounds and the flexibility to study part-time in a good accessible central location. The support from the staff and lecturers were exemplary.
The degree has given me the best of both worlds (theory and practice). I enjoyed some sessions more than others but all have attributed to my learning, development and productivity.
I advise anyone looking to study a Masters with Northumbria University London to come with an open mind. Be prepared to engage with the lecturers and your peers but most of all be willing to invest time in a lot of reading. The University inter library loan and SCONAL system are also very useful.
I’m excited about the future. This degree has given me the foundation to significantly expand my career options with my current employment.
