MSc Business with International Management

Why did you choose to study this course?

I chose to study the MSc Business with International Management after I completed my undergraduate degree in Electronic Engineering. The Masters programme is quite broad which means I can apply the course content to lots of different industries and companies. I might even run my own company one day!

What made you decide to study with Northumbria University?

I was living in Newcastle during my undergraduate studies and my cousin was studying at Northumbria University in Newcastle. They gave me a tour of the campus’s facilities and introduced me to the University.

I chose the London Campus for my Pre-Masters and Masters because it meant that I could have a change of city and study environment. The option of a January intake was ideal for me, allowing me to continue my studies after completing my Engineering undergraduate degree.

I really like the small and friendly feel of the campus, it means that it’s very easy to speak with the lecturers and other students a lot.

What did you most enjoy about studying here?

The staff are all very friendly and happy, so it’s easy to speak with them if you need anything and you get to know people on campus. I feel very comfortable here.

What do you like the most about London?

It’s a much busier city than Newcastle and is very lively, there is always lots to do.

What three words would you use to describe your experience at Northumbria?

Friendly, helpful, and fun!

What do you plan to do next?

Now that I’ve graduated, I’m applying for jobs internationally to help build my experience. I’m looking at roles in production management and project management; I would like a role which allows me to combine my Engineering undergraduate degree with my Business Management postgraduate degree. I’m looking at different roles in Australia, New Zealand, the UK and Vietnam.
