The field of computing and technology is one of the fastest-growing industries in the world. From Artificial Intelligence to Big Data and Cyber Security, the demand for skilled professionals in these areas is at an all-time high. In fact, the World Economic Forum estimates that the world will create 150 million new technology jobs over the next five years.
We are excited to announce the introduction of our new suite of undergraduate computing programmes, which are now offered at our London Campus. in response to this increasing demand.
Our programmes offer five specialisms, including:
These specialist routes allow students to focus on the areas that align with their interests and career goals.
We understand that students come to us with varying levels of experience and qualifications, which is why we offer direct entry onto Years 1, 2, or 3 depending on their previous qualifications. This allows students to build on their existing knowledge and skills and complete a degree faster to kick start their tech career or pursue postgraduate study.
Our programmes are designed to prepare students for a wide range of career opportunities, including roles in software development, data analysis, and cyber security. Graduates will be equipped with the knowledge and skills to work in areas such as machine learning, natural language processing, network engineering and more.
Along technical skills, our programmes will provide students with a strong foundation in the ethical and societal implications of computing technologies. It is crucial to consider its social implications and responsible use. Students will learn how to establish sustainable practices while implementing digital business strategies.
The BSc (Hons) Computing with programs are designed to be practical, interactive, and focused on real-world applications and skills. During their studies, students will be able to work on live projects and case studies, along with taking part in hands-on learning activities to experience what it’s like to work in the sector.
The programmes have been designed to meet the accreditation criteria of the British Computer Society (BCS), the Chartered Institute for IT for the purposes of fully meeting the academic requirement for registration as a Chartered IT Professional.
