Dr Jawdat Al-Tarawneh

Dr Jawdat is a Business Lecturer and the Module Leader for LD9718 Research Methods and Analytics for Business Practice in MSc Business programme, and he has been a faculty member in Northumbria University London campus since June 2021. Jawdat has an international experience from several academic institutions in the UK, Bahrain, Oman, and Jordan.

Jawdat started his academic career in 2010, teaching both undergraduate and postgraduate students from various social and cultural backgrounds.  Jawdat has a diverse teaching background including Management Information Systems, Business and Operations Management, Business Process Re-engineering, Human-Computer Interaction, E-Business, Databases Management Systems, Research Methods, and other subjects. He also has supervised and examined postgraduate students in the UK and abroad.

Jawdat holds a PhD degree in Business and Technology from University of Gloucestershire. He has a research interest in information Systems, E-Business, Online Banking, Technology acceptance models, Modelling of technology adoption, Fintech and Cyber Security. He participated in multiple international academic conferences as a speaker and reviewer. Jawdat is also a reviewer with several academic journals and has Elsevier Reviewer Recognition certificate. Jawdat is Fellow of the Higher Education Academy FHEA and currently working towards Senior Fellowship of HEA.

Jawdat had experience as a system administrator and programmer. He Developed and managed Oracle information systems, and managed databases. He also provided training and individual consultations in managing and developing database systems.
