Dr. Dilesha is a Senior Lecturer and a Programme Leader of the International Year One Business and MSc Strategic leadership at Northumbria University’s London Campus. Previously, Dr. Dilesha held the position of Assistant Professor at the School of Economics, Shandong University of Technology in China from June 2019 to May 2022. During her tenure, she was actively involved in teaching, research, and curriculum development, contributing significantly to the academic growth of the institution.
Dr. Dilesha has completed several professional accounting qualifications, including AAT, CIMA, and ICASL, reflecting her strong foundation in finance, accounting, and management.
Dr. Dilesha has taught across a wide range of academic levels, including undergraduate, postgraduate, and doctoral programmes. Her academic interests encompass a wide range of topics within finance and economics, with particular emphasis on corporate governance, corporate finance, financial accounting, and financial markets. She also maintains strong teaching and research engagement in international business simulation, management accounting, and financial management.
