Depending which programme you choose to study at the Northumbria University London Campus and your previous qualifications, you may be eligible for a country bursary and/or scholarship.
All of our scholarships and bursaries are automatically applied when we process your application and one of our team will be able to confirm your eligibility.
We offer up to 50% scholarship to our students.
Eligibility criteria:
Eligible international students will receive an automatic bursary for £1,334, covering one month’s living costs in London*, applied at the Conditional Offer as a fee discount. This bursary is effective for intakes in May 2024, September 2024, January 2025 and May 2025. This offer excludes Pre-sessional English, standalone Graduate Certificate programmes and sponsored applicants.
If you receive this bursary, you may still be eligible for additional bursaries and scholarships, these will be confirmed at the Unconditional Offer stage. Full maintenance costs still need to be evidenced when applying for your visa.
This bursary is only available for international students from specific countries**.

Our Accommodation Team understand that moving away from home to study at university is a huge part of the student experience. Finding the right accommodation may seem like a big task, but we are here to help support you every step of the way.
London is home to a wide range of accommodation; from ensuite, top-of-the-range residences, to traditional student housing –there’s something to suit all tastes and budgets.

London is an exceptionally diverse city, where there is always something to do or a new place to visit. Our London Campus has its own Students’ Union who regularly organise events for students to take part in, and each London Campus student also has membership to International Students’ House (ISH). ISH is located near Regent’s Park and also holds regular social evenings and organises group trips.
As one of the biggest cities in Europe, London is also served by multiple airports with regular short-haul flights to the continent making it a great city to use as a base to see more of Europe. You can also travel by train to cities such as Paris and Brugge via Eurostar.
UK Visa and Immigration (UKVI) requires you to have a budget of at least £1,334 per month to study in London (in addition to your tuition fees).

Where is the University located?
The University is located in central London, only a short walk from Liverpool Street station.
How long will it take to receive my offer?
A conditional or unconditional offer may be issued within one week, however, during busy periods offers could take up to three weeks.
Do I have the right to work in the UK while I’m studying my degree?
It is important that you allow sufficient time for your studies while you are in the UK. If you are a Colombian student entering the UK with a Student Route Visa, the maximum number of hours you can work is 20 hours per week during term time.
