Strategic leadership is the process of using well-considered tactics to communicate a vision for an organisation or one of its parts. Strategic leaders typically manage, motivate and persuade staff to share that same vision, and can be an important tool for implementing change or creating organisational structure within a business”.
Strategic leaders play an important role in an organisation and should have a key presence in a company, however, a PwC study has found that, of 6,000 senior executives, only 8 percent turned out to be strategic leaders.
It is essential for this skills-gap to be plugged. Strategic leaders within organisations have the skillset to get the best out of their staff, increasing productivity, whilst also making decisions with all relevant stakeholders considered, ensuring smooth and sustainable growth.
To meet this demand, we have launched the MSc Strategic Leadership (Part-Time).
For those who are looking to develop their careers as a strategic leader, this programme is a great route for developing the competences required to accelerate leadership career potential.
