Why did you choose to study this course?
I moved to London to study MSc Cyber Security with Advanced Practice because there aren’t many women working in IT. There is a demand for these skills, particularly as there is a gap in the market for this in Uzbekistan as it continues to develop.
What made you decide to do a degree now?
Today, there is an increase in data flow as well as more instances of cyber hacking and someone should be able to secure your data. This course is all about learning how to protect society’s data information.
What skills and knowledge have you learned which help with your future plans?
We have learned how to protect wireless networks from threats, not only through hard skills but also through soft skills such as writing information government policies for organisations.
Do you feel like what you’re learning in your course has enough practical application?
Everything I learn in my first year will be shown, tested and enhanced in the Advanced Practice work experience opportunity.
