Also, the UK’s National AI Strategy is set to support jobs and economic growth through significant investment in AI infrastructure, skills and innovation. Indeed, the UK AI Council has published AI roadmap and recommended UK government to scale up and commit to AI skill building programme to address skills shortages of AI professionals.
The BSc (Hons) Computing with AI Technology will provide you with a recognised undergraduate qualification which combines a wide range of computing subject areas with Artificial Intelligence Technology.
It is also attractive to learners who have related IT work experience but do not hold a first degree as they provide an opportunity to achieve an academic qualification in a subject area in which they are familiar. Indeed, there is a need in the market for those with such qualifications and the programme can prepare you for a range of careers in artificial intelligence, including machine learning on cloud and programming for AI applications.
To accelerate your learning, you will be exposed to theories and principles relating to the design, development and testing of software using AI. You will be exposed to the in-depth concepts, principles, technologies, and techniques to train and deploy distributed machine learning models using cloud-based platforms such as Google Cloud or AWS. You will subsequently be able to apply this knowledge and skill in your own context, and subsequently critically analyse the implementation and recommend potential future improvements.
You will additionally develop understanding of the typology of innovation, how firms leverage internal and external resources to compete in the digital environment, and how to plan for innovation in any organisation.
After graduating from this programme, you will be equipped to work in a variety of careers in the IT industry, or to progress to academic or research-orientated careers.

Please note:
For Level 5 and Level 6 entry you must provide evidence of a Level 2 Maths or equivalent. Exemptions are granted if you can evidence previous study in finance, accounting, statistics, data analysis or research modules at previous levels of study.
Applicants over the age of 21 without formal qualifications yet with appropriate work experience are also encouraged to apply for entry to level 4 or 5. Non-standard qualifications/work experience will need to be considered on an individual basis.

This module will introduce you to mathematical and computational concepts, and the information technology infrastructure encompassing systems and devices.
Get career-ready by developing a solid understanding of database approach, including its benefits in contrast to traditional file approach.
Build your understanding of the fundamental principles of data communication technologies, network models and the protocols used for digital transmission to support business operations.
This module will cover the fundamental concepts and principles of website design and development.
Gain an introduction of object orientation (OO) in the context of software analysis and design and relate them to OO programming concepts.
Develop key academic skills, including language and research skills, to successfully complete your assignments throughout the programme.
With more organisations using the cloud for storing sensitive data, gaining a solid knowledge and critical understanding of fundamental concepts, principles and technologies in Cloud Computing will provide invaluable insight for your experiential learning semester and future career.
Gain an in-depth understanding of the changing cyber landscape as a result of digital transformation and rise of machine-to-machine communication.
Within the module you will determine steps to ensure business processes are aligned with business strategies, operations and the role of business. Further to this, you will analyse and design how businesses can make meaningful change to business processes and be able to adapt for the future.

London Cost of Living Bursary
Eligible international students will receive an automatic bursary for £1,334, covering one month’s living costs in London*, applied at the Conditional Offer as a fee discount. This bursary is effective for intakes in January 2025 and May 2025. This offer excludes Pre-sessional English, standalone Graduate Certificate programmes and sponsored applicants.
If you receive this bursary, you may still be eligible for additional bursaries and scholarships, these will be confirmed at the Unconditional Offer stage. Full maintenance costs still need to be evidenced when applying for your visa.
