“Hi, my name is Marieli Venegas, I am from Venezuela and the course I am taking is a Masters in Digital Marketing.
So I found the course through a student’s agency and because I knew that London is one of the best cities, in terms of technology and advertisement. I was just finding the right course, so when I Googled it and I found Northumbria, I read about the course. It had everything I was looking for.
So the course that I was attracted to was the Advanced Practice course, which was the option that I took because you could either choose a 1 year course or a 2 year course. This one, the 2 year course includes work experience or internships depending what you want to call it.
You will be taught by teachers from India, English ones, Americans, so also you can distinguish each different accent. It is a real world, it’s not like you have teachers that are really square and narrow and boring, they are really active, they try to actually encourage you, and they make you feel comfortable. Don’t be afraid to ask if you feel like your English is not the best. They will try to make sure that they can understand you. They are there almost every day, if you need some extra help, they will be there. So yeah, I think they’re really supportive and a nice team.”
