Timea has over 23 years of experience in marketing and digital. She worked in C-level marketing positions at FTSE 500 companies in various industries before starting a marketing consultancy, Francis Cooper. She has won multiple awards for the campaigns they have done and the results they have achieved for their clients.
Timea is the Director of London Business Society, organising and hosting 100 business networking events a year in prestigious venues in Central London.
Timea joined Northumbria University in November 2021 as a marketing lecturer and was promoted to be the Programme Leader of the MSc Digital Marketing Programme in September 2022.
She has taught modules like Marketing Metrics and Analytics, Digital Customer Journey, Luxury Brand Management, Entrepreneurship, Creativity and Marketing Planning.
Timea takes a practitioner approach when teaching, giving students access to industry tools, platforms, guest lecturing and study tours to help employability.
Her focus includes marketing strategy, competitive advantage, content marketing, customer journey, customer profiling, data-driven marketing, direct response copywriting (including AI).
Timea won the Student-Led teacher’s Award for Outstanding Employee of the London Campus in 2023.
