We’re thrilled to share that Northumbria University London ranked Highly Commended in the category of Outstanding Contribution to Enhancing the Overseas Student Experience in London by London Higher. These awards were open to all London Higher Education Institutions and the outcome reflects the fantastic work from all our colleagues involved in supporting the international student experience from pre-arrival through to graduation.

Northumbria University London Campus is home to 5000 students from 92 countries studying on a range of programme types including full time, part time, degree apprenticeship and distance learning.
Key to student onboarding, academic and career success is our four-stage support package delivered in partnership between the university and QA Higher Education. This begins six weeks prior to a student commencing their academic studies, continuing throughput their period of study. Interventions include:
In 2022/23 over 4200 students accessed this personalised support model, with subsequent feedback noting 96% overall satisfaction and positive impact on their academic confidence and achievements.
