Vince is a computing lecturer at ACE (Academic Community of Excellence), where he provides academic support in computing-related subjects. With years of experience in the cybersecurity industry, he specializes in data processing, analysis, and visualization. Holding dual master’s degrees in Teaching English as a Second Language (TESOL) and Human-Computer Interaction Design (HCID), Vince is passionate about bridging disciplines and creating meaningful synergies across fields.
Vince’s research interests include Computer-Assisted Language Learning (CALL), the impact of technology on language teacher training, and the perceived versus actual security of password-less authentication, which he has explored through in-depth qualitative studies.
As for teaching specialisms, he has been teaching programming for more than three years in universities, institutions, training centres, especially the use of Python for data analysis and visualization, web development, etc.
