I am a dedicated academic professional with a passion for shaping the future of students in the field of Global Logistics, Operations, and Supply Chain Management. Since joining Northumbria University London in September 2021, I have had the privilege of serving as a Lecturer and Programme Leader within the Newcastle Business School, where I lead the MSc (Level 7) programme in Global Logistics, Operations, and Supply Chain Management, including the variant with Advanced Practice.
Teaching Approach:
My teaching philosophy revolves around an interactive and dynamic approach, combining in-class, online, and hybrid delivery methods. I take pride in designing teaching materials and assessments that equip students with a comprehensive understanding of the subject matter. As a module leader, I have led modules on topics such as Supply Chain Sustainability, Risk and Resilience Management, and Global Supply Chain and Operations Improvement. Additionally, my role as a module tutor covers a wide range of subjects, including Global and Transnational Business, Leadership, Management in Professional Practice, and Strategic Management for Competitive Advantage.
Academic & Research Engagement:
Beyond the classroom, I am deeply committed to academic research. My work involves contributing to the knowledge base in the field of global logistics, operations, and supply chain management. This research not only enriches my own understanding but also benefits the wider academic community and students.
With over a decade of academic and teaching experience, I have honed my expertise in various levels and fields, ranging from MBA, MA, and BSc programs to foundation degrees in several universities. As a lecturer and programme leader, I have led modules and supervised dissertations, ensuring that my students receive a comprehensive education in subjects such as Supply Chain Sustainability, Risk and Resilience Management, Strategic Marketing, and Personal and Professional Skills for Contemporary Organizations.
My dedication to academic excellence and my commitment to providing students with the guidance and mentorship they need have been the driving forces behind my career, and I continue to contribute to the growth and development of future professionals in the field of logistics and supply chain management.
